My professional design career began with a start-up called Numanity, a social / environmental platform. There I helped conceptualize a brand, the pitch deck, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes.

My work with Numanity began in 2016 before Figma rose to capture the UX/UI industry. Like many start-up designers, I wore many different hats and used many different tools to design the platform. In 2017, the Numanity team attended TechCrunch Disrupt and received it's first round of funding.

The lessons I learned working within a start-up broadened my insight around the operations of larger companies and the interconnected nature of software development . After working with the Numanity team I decided to commit myself to furthering my design career by enrolling in a live UI Design program at Memorisely.
