In 2017 I helped the Numanity team create high fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and mock-up concepts before attending Tech Crunch - Disrupt in 2018. Numanity has undergone a hiatus or two over the years, but in the autumn of 2023 I was asked by the founder to create updated prototypes, a landing page, and even a pitch deck to present the idea to friends, colleagues, and investors.

When I was asked to work on Numanity again after several years of hiatus, I was told that the main objective of my work would be helping convey the vision product. Keeping in mind that the wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes would not depict the final product with 100% accuracy, rather bring people up to speed with where the project was headed long term.

Start-up's need fast and efficient ways of getting people up to speed on the value of their ideas, the market that it exists within, how it will generate revenue, etc. Featured above is the deck I designed for Numanity in the fall of 2023 which outlines al of the major points in the business plan shared with me by the founder.

Getting started, the founder and I met to plan the information architecture of the mobile app. Mapping the user journeys made it easy to identify which features highlighted the unique selling proposition of the platform.

I advocated to the founder that we include a sequence of questions or forms within the onboarding experience to help collect vital information about our user base. Learning their age demographic, where they first learned about Numanity, and what brought them to the platform are key bits of information that can be used to further guide the users experience, and assist with marketing efforts as well.

Actions are the driving force for creating change. Numanity's mission is to guide those actions towards a more sustainable future, on both the individual level and the collective level. Users have the opportunity to earn actionable rewards by signing a petitions, passing crash courses, making donations, and creating eco content.

According to the views of the founder, it was imperative to bringing positive reinforcement into the equation. Creating a reward system that incentives real world action requires real world rewards. The obstacle here being able to turn the non-quantifiable effects of actions taken by the users, and attach a fiscal value that could be used as a method of exchange.

Above is a three tier proposal for potential partners (NPOs, NGOs, and for-profit businesses) The tiers provide some flexibility in terms of the exchange rates between Numanity Points and the USD, giving partners the ability to choose their level of commitment.

Creating the Numanity marketing site was my first experience in Framer. While it is not currently still in use, it was really helpful to give the founder a live product that people could access independently.
